Volnay: 118 hectares classified as Premiers Crus

In Burgundy, the Volnay vineyard excels. Having an excellent location, at the top of the Côte de Beaune, the Volnay domain, which is also an AOC, counts with 29 climates classified as Premiers Crus. In fact, of its 206 hectares, 118 are classified as Premiers Crus. There is also the Clos des Chênes and the Mitans among some of its most important productions. The territory, for its part, lies on the mountain of Chaignot, with a beautiful southeast exposure.

The success of Volnay wines does not stop at the table. What is mostly appreciated about these wines is the great intensity of its flavors, accompanied by an affirmed femininity. Blackcurrant, cherry, spices and even prunes come in a clear, ruby or garnet color. First fleshy in the mouth, their final touch gives advantage to fruits. These flavors make them perfect for cooking white meats, game meats or to be enjoyed with cheese. In addition, Volnay wines are wines of outstanding aging, some of which may be over 50 years old.
