The Chateau Cheval-Blanc, which its owner likes to call the "Chai under the Hill" is located on a group of small parcels of land, which gathers 37 hectares of Saint-Emilion vineyards. This domain produces a Bordeaux wine that ranks among the best of the area: the domain Cheval-Blanc has been ranked "Premier Grand Cru Classé A" in the first classifications of Saint-Emilion, in 1955. It has never left this place ever since. In addition the Cheval Blanc wine has also already received other important international awards, such as two medals of gold at the Universal Exhibition in Paris (in 1878) and in Anvers (In 1886).
Its production, generates 150 000 bottles, exclusively dedicated to the production of red wine. The recipe Cheval-Blanc: is 60% of franc cabernet and 40% merlot. Cheval-Blanc wines stand out most of all for its sophistication. Even on its most recent vintages, it is already possible to smell the floral and mineral aromas. The 2016 vintage seems very promising. We should also mention the coming out of the "Small Cheval Blanc" in 2014. Its first vintage was illustrated with a beautiful vivacity.
