2009

Notre collection de vins par millésime 2009.

For Bordeaux, the year 2009 excelled in the production of wines considered legendary. Red wines are grandiose, lush, rich, sophisticated, easily tasteable in their youth while having an excellent ageing capacity. The white wines are also beautifully balanced, ripe, well evolved in the bottle. The Champagne are not to be outdone and are still likely to be excellent to drink even today. Finally, for the estate Bourguignon the millésime 2009 gave good harvests for white wines, but stands out particularly among the great red wines for which it will remain a vintage most often excellent. To help you make your choice, we present in this guide our collection of the best wines of the millésime 2009.

The Bordeaux vintage 2009: a success.

The mild winter 2009, the warmth and humidity of spring combined with the sunny and dry summer, interrupted only by a sufficient amount of rain, produced rich, deep, complex Bordeaux red wines with remarkable tannins. For the whites, the climatic conditions were not as idyllic but the lack of acidity of the wines is quickly solved with the intense heat of summer. The year 2009 is thus considered a good year that requires little effort from winegrowers. The vintage produces highly concentrated and alcoholic white and red wines with excellent length. millésime 2009 is also considered good for champagne and red burgundy.

Our selection of the best wines of millésime 2009.

-Arnaud Ente Mersault 2009: an expansive white wine of citrus fruits, pure orchard fruits, limestone, freshly harvested flowers. At first, the nose is airy but gains in intensity just like the flavors that resonate on the palate with a good length. A wine in the big leagues that can still be kept for a decade or two unless you taste it for the end of the year. This new wine in the collection is only available in one bottle. Take advantage of the bargain to switch to the basket.
-Champagne Bollinger Great Year James Bond 007 box set 2009 magnum is an exquisite white sparkling grand cru marketed by Bollinger. This cuvée has an intense and deep gold color masking aromas of fresh flowers, citrus fruits but also notes of vanilla, dry fruit on the second nose. The captivating champagne gratifies the palate with a frank attack with flavors of ripe fruit, quince fruit, honey, and a dazzling bitter orange finish. This beverage at its peak is well suited to accompany sea fish but it can also be enjoyed as an aperitif with sweet biscuits, serrano ham, different breads .... Do not forget to respect the operating temperature of 8 to 10 ° maximum .
-Château Ausone 2009 magnum: a prestigious 1st Grand Cru Classé A produced by Château Ausone with the Saint-Emilion appellation. This nugget of the estate has a ruby red color with red edges, a complex nose revealing attractive and complex aromas of toast, dried fruit, coffee and smoke and a slightly tart taste. The memory in the mouth is remarkable. A fascinating grand cru, beautifully concentrated available in magnum. The ideal type of wine to celebrate Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve if you can afford it. But you can also keep it for a decade.
-Château Belgrave 2009 magnum: classified 5th Grand Cru in 1855, the wines of this château express the characteristics of a Saint-Julien wine: an aromatic complexity, a dense, deep personality and a fairly high aging capacity. This red wine on sale on this site, in magnum format, has a dark red color on the nose evoking cooked cherries, black fruits, stewed fruits and a note of undergrowth. The structure is silky. This versatile wine with the best value for money goes well with poultry, beef, fish, lamb, game, creamy sauces. This format also ages more slowly over time and can last more than a week after opening.
-Château Beychevelle 2009 magnum: classified 4th Grand Cru 1855, this red wine in magnum format is quite demonstrative. It is powerful, dense, elegant with a medium body and structured tannins. A wine offering an interesting quality-price ratio because of its complexity and persistence. A good plan for evenings with friends, student evening, end-of-year celebrations. To accompany with a good piece of roast beef, a dish of fish in sauce ...
-Château canon 2009: a 1st grand cru red in the Saint-Emilion appellation with a clear and deep ruby color with aromas of plums, blackberries, cherry, spices, chocolate, fresh earth. In the mouth, it deploys more subtle, more integrated flavors, and is at the same time juicy, generous with a tannic structure and a chalky minerality. The fruits coat the mouth and the finish is impressive. This wine can already be tasted quite easily but it will reach its peak in 4 or 5 years. To be enjoyed with truffles, sea fish, roast chicken .
-Domaine Georges Roumier Chambolle Musigny 2009: an expressive garnet wine with red and black fruits, at the same time pure, elegant, refined. The palate is more complex with a very well balanced velvety taste of raspberries, cherries, thyme, oyster. The finish is soft with a good length. A very delicious wine to drink offered at an affordable price. But if you keep it for a few years, it can still develop forest floor aromas and other more complex flavors.
